Cheesy Egg Bake

Leier Family Recipe

2-10.5 ounce cans of condensed soup (I use celery & chicken.)

1/2 C. Milkbread

2 Tsp. grated Onion

1 Tsp. mustard

2 C. Shredded Sharp Cheese or Swiss Cheese

8-10 large eggs

8-1/2″ thick slices of French bread, buttered

Dried Parsley

In saucepan, combine first 4 ingredients; cook and stir until heated thoroughly. Remove from heat & stir in cheese until melted. Pour 1 C. sauce into baking pan. Take sliced bread and line pan (Sometimes I stand it upright to fit more bread in pan.). Break eggs one-by-one into bowl & then pour on top of sauce.

Bake 350 degrees until eggs are set-about 30 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.

Complete the meal with fresh sliced fruit, bacon and/or sausage, and fresh-baked muffins.
