Taco Cups in Muffin Tins

tinTaco Cups are Great with Chips and Salsa or Guacamole


1 pound ground meat (hamburger, pork or turkey)

1-1.25 ounce package taco seasoning mix

36 wonton wrappers, usually found in produce section at grocery store

1-16 ounce can refried beans

36 tortilla chips, Crushed

2 C. shredded cheddar cheese


Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 18 muffin tins.

Brown meat and drain fat. Add seasoning mix and water as directed on package. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.

Place one wonton in bottom of each muffin cup. Layer 1 Tbsp of beans on top of wonton. Spoon crushed chips on top of beans. Top with 1 Tbsp of taco meat and 1 Tbsp shredded cheese. Repeat layers as needed. (Shrinks during baking, so fill to top of tin.)

Bake 15-18 minutes or until lightly brown on top.

chipsLet sit until settled. Remove from muffin tins and serve with your favorite taco toppings like sour cream, diced tomatoes, onion and/or cilantro.
